Hafa Adai!

On behalf of the Imahe Organization and all it's cultural practitioners involved, please allow me to introduce our program to you. Imahe offers quality song, chant, dance, language, and historical instruction in a friendly, positive atmosphere from beginner to advanced level students starting at the age of 5 years old and older. We mainly feature cultural performing arts from Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, but are not limited to share the cultures of our brothers and sisters in other Pacific Islands.

As the instructor of over 30 years of years in cultural dance, I strive to cultivate a positive learning environment where all cultural practitioners can learn, have fun, be creative, and enjoy the incredible world of Chamorro cultural arts.

It is Imahe's mission to instill importance of developing, promoting, appreciation, and knowledge of traditional values of our Chamorro cultural songs, chants, dances, language, and history among the community through performances, participatory events, concerts, as well as becoming active participants in the community.

Our organization is in need of your sponsorship as we commemorate the existence and cultural performing arts preservation of our Chamorro people and our islands by presenting our annual recital entitled, "Imahe: Images of the Past, Present, and Future". Throughout the years, the families involved in our organization are asked to pay for fees associated to produce this event. As you can imagine, this can get very costly.

Imahe is requesting your sponsorship for our annual recital which will be held on August 3, 2024 at the Mt. Tahoma High School Fine Arts Auditorium in Tacoma, Washington.

The primary source of funding for Imahe is gained through fundraisers, presentations, and sponsors such as yourself. Imahe receives no government funding.

Imahe continues to provide services to many surrounding cities, schools, businesses, and nonprofit organizations and is a proud partner of the Asia Pacific Cultural Center (APCC) and Para I Prubechon I Taotao-ta (PIPIT Inc). The funds raised will mainly assist in producing our annual recital. Any extra funding will be used on educational supplies, instruments, costuming, and help us acquire a dedicated building to expand our educational community outreach.

Your sponsorship will assure the success of Imahe and our recital. Below you will see our sponsorship levels. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
