Hafa Adai!

Si Yu'os Ma'ase in your interest in attending our biyearly recital.  This is our biggest fundraiser that we hold every 2 years and the funds raised help us function as an organization, but most of all we want to feature all the hard work of everyone involved in our Guma'.

Guma' Imahe was built in love for the Chamorro culture through Kanta (Song), Lalai (Chant), Baila (Dance) and Lengguahi (Language).  It is very important that everyone in our Guma' focuses on this love because it will strengthen how we view ourselves now and in the future.

Kantan I Taotao Tano' will showcase many songs and chants written by individuals who have stood by our Guma' throughout the years; to name a few,  Master of Chamorro Dance Frank Rabon (Guma' Taotao Tano'), Dr. Benjie Santiago (Natibu Dance Academy), Master of Chamorro Storytelling Peter Onedera, and Jesse Bais and Ruby Santos. These songs and chants will be choreographed by our Founder and Instructor, Saina Joel Larimer.

On this page, you will have access to purchase tickets, purchase an ad, and/or become a sponsor.

There are a few ways to get your tickets:

  1. Get them directly from one our dancers, drummers, musicians, or parents.

  2. Online (Transaction fees apply)

  3. At the door (limited tickets will be available the day of)

Hafa Adai!

Imahe would like to provide you with an opportunity to advertise your business and/or place a congratulatory ad to a special individual(s) in our  2024 Kantan I Taotao Tano' Program Booklet. Imahe is now in the process putting the booklet together, so don't wait to long to take advantage of this opportunity. Our advertising rates are low so now is a great time to advertise your business or congratulate your special people at an affordable cost!

We have full page, half, and quarter page ads available. There are two different ads we have available: Print Ready and Non-print ready. Print Ready means that you will create a 300 dpi ad in the ad size you have selected and send it to us and will be placed in the booklet as you have made it to be. Non-Print Ready means that Imahe will create the ad for you. Below you will have the opportunity to indicate what you want on the ad. Please keep in mind that depending on the ad size you select that not all of what you would like to say may not fit. So for quarter page ads, keep them simple.

All ads are due on June 30, 2024 and must be emailed  to . We appreciate you, our supporters, as advertisement space helps Imahe offset some of the production costs.

Hafa Adai!

On behalf of the Imahe Organization and all it's cultural practitioners involved, please allow me to introduce our program to you. Imahe offers quality song, chant, dance, language, and historical instruction in a friendly, positive atmosphere from beginner to advanced level students starting at the age of 5 years old and older. We mainly feature cultural performing arts from Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, but are not limited to share the cultures of our brothers and sisters in other Pacific Islands.

As the instructor of over 30 years of years in cultural dance, I strive to cultivate a positive learning environment where all cultural practitioners can learn, have fun, be creative, and enjoy the incredible world of Chamorro cultural arts.

It is Imahe's mission to instill importance of developing, promoting, appreciation, and knowledge of traditional values of our Chamorro cultural songs, chants, dances, language, and history among the community through performances, participatory events, concerts, as well as becoming active participants in the community.

Our organization is in need of your sponsorship as we commemorate the existence and cultural performing arts preservation of our Chamorro people and our islands by presenting our annual recital entitled, "Imahe: Images of the Past, Present, and Future". Throughout the years, the families involved in our organization are asked to pay for fees associated to produce this event. As you can imagine, this can get very costly.

Imahe is requesting your sponsorship for our annual recital which will be held on August 3, 2024 at the Mt. Tahoma High School Fine Arts Auditorium in Tacoma, Washington.

The primary source of funding for Imahe is gained through fundraisers, presentations, and sponsors such as yourself. Imahe receives no government funding.

Imahe continues to provide services to many surrounding cities, schools, businesses, and nonprofit organizations and is a proud partner of the Asia Pacific Cultural Center (APCC) and Para I Prubechon I Taotao-ta (PIPIT Inc). The funds raised will mainly assist in producing our annual recital. Any extra funding will be used on educational supplies, instruments, costuming, and help us acquire a dedicated building to expand our educational community outreach.

Your sponsorship will assure the success of Imahe and our recital. Below you will see our sponsorship levels. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Joel Larimer, Founder
